Ingersoll Place Chef Steve Grabkowski offered a simple-to-make holiday recipe to the viewers of The Schenectady Today Show. Assorted puff pastries were prepared live on the show. Steve also created a special sugar cookie ice cream sandwich.
Steve began as a Navy cook and later obtained his degree in culinary arts from Schenectady Community College. He is very knowledgeable regarding nutrition. Steve and his staff work as a team to provide residents with gourmet, tasteful meals while staying within the boundaries of any special dietary needs.
“Customer service is what the dietary staff and I are all about at Ingersoll Place,” Grabkowski said. “Cooking is an art. A love for food and a love for those who partake at your table bring it all to life. And the people at Ingersoll are as much a part of my family as my wonderful wife and daughter.”
